London Night Life

London is world famous for its party vibe and non-stop nightlife. The capital is seething with after-hours drinking and dancing dens of all shapes and sizes. From the pulsating dancefloors of major nightclubs to the chilled intimacy of smaller DJ bars, London has something to offer both hardcore party animals and those looking for a quiet drink and conversation.

Here is a list of just some of the pubs and clubs London has to offer:

The Cross

The Cross. Goods Way Depot, Islington,  London,  N1

Sophisticated house music venue, located in seven brick arches beneath the post-industrial maze of King's Cross goods yard. There's a nic little garden in summer, a friendly gay/straight crowd, and a maze of tiny nooks and crannies that give it an intimate feel for such a large club.

Ministry of Sound 103 Gaunt Street, Southwark,  London,  SE1

Minestry of Sound

A massive sound system, huge dancefloor and a staggering roster of big name DJs has made sure of Ministry of Sound's place in clubbing folklore.

The opening night back in 1991 heralded the explosion of superclubs across the UK. Boasting a crisp, clear, thumpingly loud sound system, and some of the best house DJs of the era, the club attracted thousands of hedonists south of the Thames every weekend.

Smithy's

Smithy's Wine Bar 16-17 Leeke Street, Camden,  London,  WC1X

An unexpected surprise, located in a King’s Cross backstreet you never knew existed, yet still only a five-minute walk from the tube, this wine-bar-cum-restaurant offers a well-stocked cellar, thoughtful refined dining and a welcoming atmosphere to match. Food-wise, Smithy’s modern European menu displays a robust Gallic inflection.
