Any great hostel needs a great bar, and the Generator has the best backpacker party bar in town. Not only do we have cheap drinks, we have entertainment and events for you every night!

The Generator bar has a Happy Hour EVERY DAY from 6.00pm to 9.00pm with selected drinks at only £1.50. We don’t stop there; we have a variety of cocktails to choose from starting from £2.50, including our own popular cocktail “Generator Special”, “Tequila Sunrise”, “Sex On Beach”, “White Russian” and many more.

Our nightly events range from quizzes to Karaoke, with various prizes to be won.  During Hardman on a Friday night you could even win yourself a week’s free accommodation! Do not forget our legendary monthly theme nights like the Superhero party, Casino Royal night, Australian Day and Halloween, all of which are a night to remember and not to be missed.
