Splash the cash on London’s Oxford Street

Women that want to indulge in a little bit of retail therapy during a stay in London are likely to be spoilt for choice, as the capital is home to enough shops to keep even the most hardened buyer busy for days.

One of the most obvious areas to check out is Oxford Street in the City of Westminster, which is one of the most famous shopping areas in the world and home to some of the biggest names in the world of fashion.

Brand names for every taste have an outlet here, including American Apparel, H&M, Urban Outfitters, Uniqlo and Zara.

Oxford Street is also home to the flagship Topshop store, which takes up four floors and is a mecca for female shoppers in the capital. It is also a popular destination for celebs, making it ideal for those wanting to rub shoulders with the rich and famous while picking up the latest fashions.

Most stores are open from 10:00 BST to 21:00 BST, however those hitting the shops on Sunday will find they close at 18:00 BST.
