British Library
Established on July 1st 1973, the British Library houses more than 150 million items in most known languages.
From manuscripts the musical scores the collection includes a large range of music, CDs and DVDs as well as books.
Over 16,000 people use the library every day and some of history’s greatest treasures such as Leonardo da Vinci’s notebook and a recording of Nelson Mandela’s Rivonia trial speech are waiting to be discovered by visitors.

From the generator: The library is four minutes walk from the Generator. After leaving the hostel turn left. At the end of the street turn left on to Judd Street. At the end of this road the British Library can be seen ahead.
