The London Eye

The London Eye is one of the most famous and unique attractions in the capital.

It stands 443 feet tall and when it was built, it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. On clear days, you can see around 25 miles from the top, and with half an hour before you reach the ground again, there’s plenty of time to take in everything.

Taking a ride on the Eye will provide you with fantastic views on both sides of the river, backwards and forwards. The south side is developing, but looking at the north side of the river, with the houses of parliament and Sir Christopher Wren’s St Paul’s Cathedral.

Additional buildings like the Gherkin as it is known, you can really see the whole vista of London. It is a fabulous place to start your visit in London.
