Serpentine Gallery

 

Serpentine Gallery is one of London’s best-loved contemporary art galleries, with a programme of modern and contemporary art exhibitions. Notable artists who have been exhibited there include:

Andy Warhol, Man Ray, Henry Moore, Bridget Riley, Damien Hirst, Allan McCollum, Piero Manzoni, Cindy Sherman, Chris Ofili

Established in 1970 and housed in a classical 1934 tea pavilion, it takes its name from the nearby Serpentine Lake.

The Serpentine Gallery is delighted to reveal the plans for the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2011 by world-renowned Swiss architect Peter Zumthor.

The Royal Parks has awarded a contract to the Serpentine Gallery to establish a new gallery in The Magazine building in Kensington Gardens.

Daily 1000-1800 – Except Friday’s 1000-2100
Closed all day 1 January and 24-26 December.
