Walk in the footsteps of legend’s

Review by Amanda
The Wembley Stadium tours gives you the chance to see the superb new home of the England football team. See where the team hang there shirts. Take a seat in the Press conference room and even lift a replica FA cup.
My experience
I have only seen Wembley in the newspapers or on TV, so I decided it was time to plan a visit. I bought a family deal for a Christmas present for my Partner & my son.
We got there 15mins early and time for a coffee and a cookie before we were called for the tour. Our guide came and introduced himself and spoke to most people which were very nice. The tour was expected to last 90mins so ensure you use the toilet first.
We went through the stadium into all the different rooms and areas including the Changing rooms, the tunnel leading onto the pitch, press conference room and the outside seating area where we had the chance to hold the replica FA cup. In every area you were allowed to take a photo which was fantastic and the guide also took pictures of my family so we could have some together, throughout the whole tour the guide spoke about the surroundings of each room and its history. He was very informative and a gave us a great experience.
As you go into the different areas and you wait for the group sometimes you are at the front and sometimes at the back and wherever we were it was fine, the best part at being at the back on the way down from the Windsor coloured room to the press conference room was the guide took 6 of us down in the lift, this was no ordinary lift, as I mentioned we came from the Windsor – The Royal family – coloured room and this is because the Royal box is in that area , the lift we went in is used by the Queen and the Royal Family.
There were about 20 people on our tour which really didn’t matter as the guide was loud and clear and we had plenty of time to take photos in each area.
My Boy is 5 years old and also had a fantastic time, though he is football crazy.
I don’t recommend this tour for children under 5 as there was a smaller child and her dad had to carry her from start to finish and she was not really interested. Children aged 4 and under are Free.
I haven’t mentioned half of the tour, as you should experience this for yourself.
I will recommend this to any Football Fan whatever your nationality as there were a few tourists there and they said they had a great time.
It’s a great tour and a very good price.
Book directly on there website you will get the best direct rate.
What an absolutely fantastic tour.
Don’t forget a souvenir from the Wembley store.
Directions
The nearest tube is Wembley Park. I won’t offer directions, because I think you will be safe to locate your destinations upon exiting the station.
Hot tip
Take some photos and use them to send your friends or family a postcard, a great souvenir that come free.
Avoid
After the tour, we were very hungry therefore the market was open and we see a Hotdog stall, we purchased 2 burgers and 2 hot dogs £10.00 and these were absolutely horrific, we threw them away. On the way back to Wembley park station half way down Olympic way where the stores are, there is a McDonalds.
Alternatively take some sandwiches for after the tour.
