About Avenue Q

Avenue Q is not exactly Park Avenue, but it is home to some lively and eccentric characters performed by an unruly and hilarious team of humans and puppets! Princeton, a naive and hopeful college graduate, has just moved to the neighbourhood as he frantically tries to follow his dreams and discover his as-yet-unknown purpose in life. A rapidly decreasing bank balance, a terribly distracting bosom-heavy blonde and a slew of strange and engaging friends and neighbours lead Princeton on a riotous journey of self-discovery. Life may suck on Avenue Q but even without a job or a home, at least there’s always sex.
Winner of the 2004 Tony Award for Best Musical, you’ll want to be first in the queue for Avenue Q.
Continuing its West End success, Avenue Q transfers to the Gielgud Theatre after three lively years at the Noël Coward Theatre.
