If you fancy a day sampling the best in food and wine this year’s Taste of London Festival may be the place you should head for – London’s best chefs will come out of their kitchens just to give you an idea of what good food tastes like. For full three days, famous kitchen masters from London’s leading restaurants will serve their signature dishes and distribute their secrets about the cooking art while 150 star food and drink producers dish out the samples and top up your glasses.
Taste of London is a must for someone who is passionate about food and restaurants. From classic British to fine French, from authentic Italian to traditional Thai, the excellence of London’s chefs knows no bounds and you will have a chance to experience that at London’s Regent Park for three days in June.
The highlight of the 2009 London event will be Thailand with a section of the show dedicated to this spiced country and restaurants such as Benja, Blue Elephant, Busaba Eathai, Mango Tree, Nahm and others presenting their dishes to discerning foodies.
Taste of London also has a full line-up of entertaining features taking place throughout the day. Whether it’s watching your favourite chefs demonstrate their secrets in the Taste Theatre or sampling exquisite wines with the UK’s top sommeliers in the Taste Wine School there is something for everyone.
