Generator Hostel London walks away with the Gold Award for budget accommodation of the year at the BT Visit London Awards, 5th November 2009.

Which recognises the people, places and experiences that contribute to London as a diverse tourist destination were announced last night at a glitzy ceremony at Westfield London.

Generator London beat stiff competition from hotels and hostels across London to walk away with the highly acclaimed prize.

Budget Accommodation of the Year

Since the Generator opened in London over 14 years ago, it has grown to become the largest hostel in the capital and hosts over 280,000 travellers every year.

Visitors enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast, benefit from free bed linen and walking tours as well as a lively bar scene.
