12 Jun: World Naked Bike Ride

 

Hands up if you like cyclists.

According to the Independent today that’ll be quite a few of us.

A 50% increase in bike journeys across the capital in just five years and despite all the arguments over funding for cycle lanes.

Ken Livingstone is hoping to double the number of cyclists in London by 2020.

On Saturday 12 June 2010 the seventh London World Naked Bike Ride will return to the streets of the capital, allowing riders to see the city sights from the comfort of a bike or skates.

The ride is easy and upbeat, and riders decorate their bodies and bikes with messages of protest against oil dependency and car culture.

The event will take place whatever the weather – please come prepared for rain, cold or blazing heat!

What Fun this will be for such a great cause!!!!
