Calling all South African’s, Kiwi’s & Aussie’s
Toast is the southern hemisphere’s largest celebration of New Zealand, Australian and South African food, wine, polo, sport and culture. Now in its 10th successful year, Toast Festival is delighted to announce its return to Clapham Common on 24th,25th & 26th September 2010
Indulge in authentic Australasian and South African cuisine, watch international polo matches, sample a selection of fantastic wine, enjoy home-grown music and cultural performances, buy some great produce from the Southern Hemisphere, plan a holiday, or find that dream property.
It’s a well-established event and draws in a crowd of approximately 20,000 with wine tasting theatres, live entertainment from the Toast Nations, exhibitor stands and sporting attractions.
This year’s event will attract a wealth of new visitors with international Polo matches in association with the Ascot Park Polo Club, and international sporting talent.. Previous guests have included Australian cricket heroes Ricky Ponting and Adam Gilchrist and Australian and Kiwi rugby union stars, David Campese, Zinzan Brooke and Dan Carter.
The festival is going back outdoors! The entertainment and food and wine stalls always ensure large visitor numbers..
The Polo is back! There will be polo matches at the start of the day, in association with the Ascot Park Polo Club. The main entertainment will take place on the stage after polo.
The wine theatres are back which hold a wine tasting session every hour over the three days!
