The Greener Festival – Camden

6th June 2010

Head to Regents park between 12pm-7pm, this event started as a small local community event , now Camden Green Fair has grown to be the UK’s Largest free enviromental event. Its aim is to show the huge and rapidly growing numbers of substainable companies and products, campaigns, movements and ethical lifestyle choices available to us – and inspire Londoners towards a greener future.

Also Live music from around the world – along with workshops and stalls, a solar powered cinema and plenty of fun activities.

The Village Fete which brings the community together in the spirit of fun and frivolity, and celebrates the simple pleasures in life.

The Village Green will play host to the first CGF village games with teams competing for glory in traditional sports – Cheer the Teams On !!

This year we are extending our children’s area to provide loads of great stuff for the little (and not so little) environmentalists amongst us…..activities will include Felting, Knitting, Bread making, Willow weaving, ‘Wishing Tree’, Crown Making, Story telling, Puppets, Circus, Healing, Herbalists, Yoga, Meditation, and some shaded areas for families
