in Victoria Park
People visiting London at the end of this month may wish to experience a relaxing day away from the fast pace of the city by chilling out at the Field Day festival.
Taking place at Victoria Park on July 31st, the eclectic line-up will include sets from the likes of Caribou, Lightspeed Champion, Phoenix, The Fall and Steve Mason.
There will also be a Last FM stage with performances from Atlas Sound, Egyptian Hip Hop and Cate Le Bond.
While these cutting-edge artists will form the musical backdrop, the festival itself will take on the feel of a traditional village green event.
Egg and spoon and sack races will see visitors competing for prizes, while there will also be a blindfolded tea drinking contest and scone throwing, splat the rat game and the chance to milk a plywood cow.
In addition, there will be craft stalls and swap shops, along with plenty of sweet and savoury delicacies to sample.
