On Pancake Day (or Shrove Tuesday as it’s also known) London will be teeming with pancakes, and who doesn’t love pancakes? Across London there will be organized pancake races where contestants must race against each other flipping their pancakes whilst running. Even if you don’t want to take part these competitions are great fun to watch.
One of the organized races is the Great Spitalfields Pancake Race which will be taking place on Brick Lane at 12.30pm. There are other contests taking place at Guildhall and Cathedral Square as well as races at Victoria Tower Gardens. From these events you can expect a lot of laughs and a great turnout!
So whether you fancy running whilst tossing a pancake to try and win a prize or you whether just enjoy pancakes, then why not seek out some flipping fun?
