London Triathlon could provide racy stay in capital

The London Triathlon 2010 is nearing and could provide a thrilling spectacle for anyone staying in the capital this summer.

Due to take place at the ExCeL Centre on August 7th and 8th, the athletic event includes a variety of distances and abilities, ranging from the Youth Super Sprint for youngsters to the Olympic-level challenge for anyone 17 years old or above.

The latter comprises a mammoth 1,500-kilometre swim, 40-kilometre bike ride and ten-kilometre run – so if that doesn’t make you feel tired just hearing about it, then why not head down to watch the specialists in action..

As well as viewing the transitions and finish line indoors, there are various points for spectators to catch the action. Look over the course map ahead of time and plan where you think will be a good spot.

Hopefully, the weather will be nice – so don’t forget sunscreen and shades to stay safe.
