Farnborough International Airshow 2010 will take to the skies in what will mark the 47th biennial show.
Open to the public on the 24th-25th July, the show will maintain its status on the airshow calendar as one of the most diverse and largest of its kind. The event is held at the famous Farnborough Aerodrome which links back to aviation from the very beginning of man’s quest for air.
This historic landmark opens its gates over the weekend to demonstrate to the public a combination of civil and military aircraft displaying historic to modern day technology.
The Farnborough International Airshow 2010 is marked as the must-see family event guaranteed to be fun-fuelled and enjoyed by any age group
Flying display will start around midday and run for over four hours, paying tribute to the brave, celebrating the 70th anniversary of The Battle of Britain with the iconic Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster.
Then we look to the future with the latest fast jets and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) demonstrations. The famous RAF Red Arrows will add to the excitement with their daring and dynamic formation flying. Finally, the Space Zone invites visitors to meet with the creators of the Bloodhound show car, with its rocket motor and view the latest displays of aerospace technology in the four exhibition halls.
