If you’re wanting to check out some niche art while enjoying a stay in London during February, then the Kinetica Art Fair may be one of your best bets.
Billed by organisers the Kinetica Museum as “the first of its kind in the UK”, the event is designed to showcase the latest creations from artists specialising in using electronic, robotic and kinetic materials in their masterpieces.
Over 35 galleries are taking part in the 2010 show – which begins on February 4th and ends on February 7th – and over 150 artists will be exhibiting at the P3 venue on Marylebone Road.
This year, a special feature dedicated to the “pioneers and masters of kinetic art” will be on shown to visitors, including items such as original installations from Cybernetic Serendipity, an exhibition first shown in 1968.
Tickets to the Kinetica Art Fair are priced at £14 and those who go in groups will be able to arrange a tour of the exhibits that are on show.
