Where is Charlotte Street?

Charlotte Street is a well-known street with many restaurants in Fitzrovia area in central London, few minutes walk from the Generator hostel.

Fitzrovia is the area aroud the BT Tower (so you can find it easily), and is characterised by its media/fashion/advertising industries based in the area such as the headquarters of Channel 4 television and CNN Europe, and the famous Londoners’ source of information Time Out magazine is published in the same neighbourhood.

Fitzrovia was also a notable artistic and bohemian centre from a period dating roughly from the mid 1920s until the present day and the famous names associated to the area ranges from Arthur Rimbaud to Pink Floyd and Coldplay.

The street has a lively nightlife during the evening.

Directions from the hostel: Just turn right after you exit the hostel, and you can see the BT Tower already. Walk towards the BT Tower on Tavistock Place for about 10 minutes.
