The Mater Smithfield Rapid Injury Clinic offers assessment and treatment to anyone who has sustained an injury. Nurses and doctors who specialize in emergency care (Advanced Nursing Practitioners and Emergency Registrar) staff the Rapid Injury Clinic. The clinic has direct access to x-ray and laboratory tests and they provide a full range of urgent care services, for example; suturing, application of plaster of paris and minor surgical procedures. We have direct access to all hospital services as the clinic is under the care of the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital
