Reviews for Berlin attractions

Wouldn’t it be great if you had a friend in Berlin, who checks out the tourist attractions, bars, restaurants and clubs before you go there? Let us tell you something: you do have that friend! Generator Hostels staff members have been clubbing, eating, drinking and sightseeing just for you, and they have written reviews about it! Check which one of the staff members has the same interests as you, and read his or her reviews! (of course you’re also invited to read anyone elses reviews.)

Felix

Felix is a 24 year old Berliner and has a reputation for being the metal king of the Generator Berlin. Surprisingly enough for a metal king, Felix also has a passion for hiphop music (no joke!). He used to play drums in bands, but switched to grunt vocals a few years ago. Felix is a nocturnal creature and works as a night receptionist. With his impressive length of more than 2 meters he could scare you senseless when you meet him in a dark alley, but don’t be afraid, because in reality Felix is as sweet as a little lamb. Vincent

Vincent is a 23 year old single Dutchman who currently resides in London, after having worked in Berlin for a while. He has many passions, such as playing guitar, writing songs and stories, photography, food, and il dolce far niente, or the sweetness of doing nothing. He likes listening to rock, metal, and minimal techno (when going out also electro). After being vegetarian for 14 years, he’s now, on doctor’s advice, back to eating 120 grams of meat each week. Although he claims to hate spending money, he always ends up spending more than he initially planned to do. Read some of Vincent’s reviews.

Sabine

Sabine is the 33 years old German general-manager of Generator Hostel Berlin (so always be nice to her – she might give you discount!). She has been living in Berlin since 2002 and is currently engaged with a long-haired German guy. She discovers new things to do in Berlin every day. Her hobbies are reading, travelling and visiting friends (who are all scattered around the world). For some reason Sabine doesn’t want to tell her grandmother’s maiden name. Julien

Julien is a 24 years old Frenchman who arrived in Berlin two years ago, mainly motivated by the fact that he wanted to experience that one city that has gone through the biggest turmoil in the last 20 years. Also, living in Berlin gives him the opportunity to travel around in his free time to soak up history and the rich culture, preferably equipped with a good photo camera. But he also likes to have fun by having a barbecue with friends in a beautiful city park, or meet people in the evening in the heart of the alternative scene, to feel the city’s beating heart. Read some of Julien’s reviews!
