Hitler's secret bunker is now a popular tourist spot
It used to be one of Berlin's best kept secrets, but Hitler's bunker is now a popular tourist destination for many visitors to the city and could be well worth a look for anyone interested in the history of the country.
According to the Times, Berlin kept the location of the underground rooms where the Nazi leader spent his last days hidden from the public.
This is also the location where Hitler was said to have killed himself with a pistol at the end of the Second World War.
The site is close to the Brandenburg Gate and 15 meters underground, it has impenetrable walls which were designed to withstand bomb attacks on the city.
Although much of the bunker was destroyed by Russians at the end of the conflict, a large amount remains intact for visitors to see.
