Free Berlin walking tour
The Generator Berlin in partnership with New Berlin Tours are offering all guests (except groups up to 10 persons) a free walking tour. The tour picks up daily from the reception at 10.15am.
This 3.5 hour English-language walking tour goes deeper than just introducing the sites: we delve into the city’s amazing history, from the darkest hours to the brightest moments. We start off at the symbol of Germany: the Brandenburg Gate. From there we follow the line of the Wall, through the Nazi Government District to Checkpoint Charlie. After a coffee break we head through the 1920s Cabaret Mile, over Berlin’s grandest square – Gendarmenmarkt – to Museum Island. The tour concludes in the beautiful surroundings of the Lustgarten – the old royal gardens – in the heart of the city, a stone’s throw from some of the best museums in the world.
The walking tour covers all the main sites, such as:
- Pariser Platz
- The Brandenburg Gate
- The Reichstag
- The new Holocaust Memorial
- Hitler’s Bunker
- Luftwaffe HQ
- The 17. June Memorial
- The Berlin Wall

…and more!
