Spring

  • Long Night of the Museums (March & October)

    Over 100 of Berlin’s museums, special collections and cultural projects keep their doors open late and hold special events.
  • Long Night of Shopping (March & October )

    Every October and March shops along Berlin’s plush Kurfürstendamm boulevard open late for the Long Night of Shopping. Thousands of shopaholics indulge as 350 shops, stores, restaurants and bars entice shoppers in from the cold with special offers and entertainment.
  • ITB Berlin (10 – 14 Mar 2010)

    The ITB Berlin (International Tourism Exchange Berlin) at Messe Berlin features an extensive gathering of exhibitors from the travel and tourism industry and attracts nearly 125,000 visitors every year.
  • Night of Theatres and Operas (Apr 2010)

    Around 60 of Berlin’s stages show back-to-back productions of around half an hour’s duration, so that visitors can get round several major venues in one night and soak up a range of different cultural media, from opera to ballet and theatre.

Summer

  • Berlin Fashion Week
  • (July 2010)

    Mercedez-Benz sponsors Berlin Fashion Week 2010, with an ever increasing number of designer runway shows.

  • Stiletto Charity Run (Aug)

    In heels at least 9cm in height, over a distance of 100 metres a bunch of femmes dash for 10,000EUR in cash!
  • Capital Beach Opening (Mar – Sep)

Autumn

  • Art Forum Berlin (24 – 27 Sep 2009)
