‘Popkomm in Berlin’

Music fans heading to Germany for an early autumn holiday may want to check out one event taking place in the capital.

Popkomn, which is also known as the International Music Business Market, will be held at the city’s Tempelhof Airport from September 07th to 09th.

It is a place for labels, companies, key industry players and people from both the live and digital music businesses to come together and exchange ideas.

Bands will also be performing at the event and with more than 400 playing their tunes, visitors are unlikely to be short of entertainment during their time there.

According to WhatsOnWhen, Popkomn “has established itself as one of the biggest get-togethers in the music industry calendar” and increasing numbers of people from outside of Germany are choosing to attend.

Although trade shows and conferences are limited to industry professionals, music-lovers are free to peruse the showcases on offer.
