Kevin Costner – Country Music Star?

Ever wondered what happened to movie legend Kevin Costner, star of The Bodyguard and Dances with Wolves? Well, he’s back – in a way.

Turns out he has a band, called Kevin Costner and Modern West, who are midway through a European tour, spreading their own version of hard rockin’ country for Stetson loving fans all over the continent.

On March 18th they roll into Berlin on the back of sold out shows in France, Denmark and Luxembourg.

Costner has a background in music, having produced the soundtracks to several of his films, including Hit and Run, Swing Vote and The Postman.

While the chance to see a famous movie star perform in a band may be an intriguing curiosity to many, it appears the press feedback has at least been more favourable for Costner than for fellow actors cum wannabes like Billy Bob Thornton and Steven Segal.

The gig takes place at the Tempodrom, starting at 20:00 local time. Support comes from Sarah Beck and tickets cost €60-€74 each.
