German Masters Snooker at Tempodrom – Sport in Berlin

 

Event Dates: 1st – 5th February 2012 tempodrom

Coming in early February to the Tempodrom in Berlin is the German Masters Snooker Tournament. For five days you will be able to see 16 of the world’s best snooker players, 16 pros and six amateur “wild-cards” battling it out for the German Masters championship. Join an expected 14,000 spectators over the week to see who will beat the world’s snooker elite.

Tickets to the German Masters will cost between 16 and 42 Euros. Doors are open from 9am and the day’s snooker begins at 10am. The Tempodrom is located on Möckernstraße 10 and the fastest way to reach it is by taking the S1, 2 or 25 to the Anhalter Bahnhof station just one station south of the Potsdamer Platz.

Food and Drink in Mitte

Close by to the Tempodrom is the Potsdamer Platz which houses a multitude of bars and restaurants. For a drink after the day’s snooker it is worth checking out Mommseneck on Alte-Potsdamerstr. 1. They serve a wonderful selection of over 100 beers in a cosy and friendly environment.
