A permanent exhibition has been erected on the site of central institutions associated with persecution by the Nazis.
The Topography of Terror show in Berlin could interest those looking to pay a visit to the German capital as it provides information about the location and its history.
It was central between 1933 and 1945 in the activities of the Nazis and housed the Schoneweide forced labor camp.
A total of 11 of the 13 original housing barracks remain today, six of which are under the management of the Topography of Terror Foundation.
The Topography of Terror exhibition is open each day between Tuesday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm and has been in operation since 1987, with a project underway to construct a new exhibition and documentation building, which is scheduled to open in May.
Plans are in place to use the Documentation Center on Nazi Forced Labor for archives, education, exhibitions and commemoration events to examine the plight of individuals forced to work in the German Reich and territories under occupation.
