Don’t miss a day on the beach in Berlin

People heading to Berlin in the next month may wish to ensure that they do not miss out on a beach trip – although to do this they will not have to leave the city.

What’s On When reports that until September 25th, the banks of the River Spree have been transformed into the Capital Beach.

While the summer sun remains in the sky, the banks of the river are transformed with sand and deck chairs, to give locals and visitors alike the chance to relax and unwind while enjoying the heat.

However, this is a beach with a difference, as DJs will be on hand to fill the air with music, while people also have the chance to completely forget their worries by sipping on a cocktail.

Visitors may wish to keep in mind that Capital Beach’s location can alter depending on the weather.

Also taking place on the banks of the river throughout September is Spree Brunch at Radialsystem V, where people can take a cruise and listen to some live music.
