At the Renaissance Theater in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin lecturer David Gelernter is giving a lecture entitled “Remembering How to Read“. In the lecture he will talk about how the key to technological development is to develop computers to run closer to the human brain and not to continue the adaption of the human brain to work in the way of a computer. The lecture promises to be an interesting look into how Gelernter’s predictions about the development of the Internet have developed into cloud computing and other intangible systems.
The lecture starts at 11.30am and tickets are 10 Euros full price and 7.50 Euros for concessions. The best way to reach the Renaissance Theater is by taking the U2 to Ernst Reuter Platz and walking the short distance down Hardenberger Staße.
