The Generator Barcelona is the latest addition to the Generator Hostels family and its great location is in the heart of Barcelona, in the trendy district of Eixample.

Built in 1963 this newly renovated office building is conveniently located only a 5 minute walk from two of the main metro lines, Diagonal and Verdaguer, within walking distance from all the main tourist attractions and close to some of the coolest bars and shops in Barcelona. Travelling to and from the many tourist attractions is really quick and easy.

Rooms Options

The Generator Barcelona is a hotel and hostel combination with rooms for every budget with sizes ranging from modern twin/double rooms, over 4 beds to 8 beds dorms.

As new Generator Hostel standard all bunk beds are equipped with individual LED lights, USB port, storage lockers, and power sockets. All rooms are en-suite with additional shower facilities on each floor.

The pink female-only dorms are equipped with girly necessities such as hair dryers, large mirrors, relaxing area, and gossip magazines.

Facilities and Services

Reception opens 24h, free Wi-Fi in all communal areas, which are spread over several floors to relax and socialize. Luggage room on arrival and departure, free lockers in the rooms, delicious breakfast available at a small fee, Generator Bar open daily with parties and free events to join – these are just a few examples of what we offer to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible.
