Brand Design Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and present visual brand experience and integrated campaigns in innovative, compelling way and across different formats.

• Involved in project planning of designing and producing required material for Generator Hostels across Europe.

• through art direction, technology and design.

• Present creative solutions to the Sales and Marketing department.

Skills and Requirements:

• Must have a creative and vibrant style and be able to work on own initiative

• Must have good attention to detail

• Must be able to work with corel SE3, Adobe CS3 – Photoshop, illustrator etc

• Must have previous experience in design

• Must have good time management skills and able to work to strict deadlines

Assistant F&B Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

• To maximising profit opportunities in all F&B outlets, along with the F&B Manager advise the General Manager and Operations Manager on all matters relating to the Food and Beverage Department.

To raise standards of the Generator Hostels F&B outlets and maintain these standards once met.

To ensure that all F&B outlets comply with all relevant legislation relating to Health and Safety, Food Hygiene Regulations and licensing legislation.

To promote a safe, healthy and environmentally hygienic F&B department.

Skills and Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years experience at a Food and Beverage Manager level within a busy and large hotel or hostel.

• Previous experience of working in an operational food and beverage department with a high volume food and beverage, conference outlets.

• 2 years experience in relation to managing a team.

• To ensure team adherence to all company policies.

Café Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the Cafe is fully stocked at all times with the required food and drink.

• Selling hot and cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches and other food items sold in the cafe.

• Making fresh sandwiches and salads to be sold in the café.

• Preparing pastries ready to be cooked in the oven and sold in the Café.

• Cash handling, taking payment from the guest and reconciliation of takings taken from the Café.

• Stock take of all food produce in the Café.

• Following food hygiene regulations when handing food.

• Ensure appropriate food stock rotation of all items.

• Ensure that the Café area is clean and tidy at all times.

• Clearing any rubbish left by the guests and ensure that the tables and chairs are clean and presentable.

Skills and Requirements:

• Must have a good understanding of food hygiene regulations.

• Have at least 12 months previous experience of working with and serving food.

• Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a busy environment.

• Be able to multi task and use own initiative.

• Must enjoy working with food and be able to present the food appropriately that is sold in the Café.

Night Security

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external patrols of the hostel with a view to the prevention and detection of breaches of security, fire, health and safety and other disorderly behaviour.

• Protect residents and staff on the premises

• Provide advice and information to guest and respond to any requests for assistance in a customer-focused manner.

• Investigate any report of crime, damage, defect or other incident and take immediate action as required.

• You must possess excellent communication and customer service skills. Be able to deal with situations in a professional manner. Be flexible and a team player.

• Possess Fire, Health & Safety knowledge.

• Maintain noise and crowd control outside the premises.

• Monitor and patrol the bar area and ensure the safety of all guests.

• Deal with drunken and disorderly guest and report them to the security manager

Skills and Requirements:
