	The Velodrom is an indoor arena in Berlin next to the Generator Berlin, Germany. It hosts mainly indoor sporting events and trade shows and concerts. SSE. The Olympic swimming pool. This pool hosts events like the European and German Championships and several youth cups every year

	Shopping
	Besides the well known shopping boulevards like Kurfürstendamm or Friedrichstrasse many more places such as the newly opened Alexa shopping centre a mere ten minutes away from the Generator tempt to stroll, shop and linger. 	There are a number of parks around the surrounding area of the Generator which you can enjoy in the sun. The closest is Volkspark Friedrichshain, just a ten minute walk away which also has a fabulous open air cinema in summer.
