We care about what you think!. We give a comment form to every guest, and each one that is returned will be read by management. Things like later breakfast, female only dorms, smoke free hostels and movie nights were all based on your suggestions. We also keep coming up with new ideas to keep you excited.

Most of our crew were backpackers themselves before settling down until they get bitten by the travel bug again. We think that working in a highly professional manner does not have to exclude having a lot of fun. After all, we run friendly, fun and exciting hostels, not some boring budget hotel. We believe in the personal touch, there are no scary corporate handbooks telling our people when to smile and what to say. What you get is genuine friendliness and just great advice from like-minded people.

Offering our guests more than just a bed, a sense of community and a memorable experience.

Anybody can sell you a cheap bed in a hostel. But we know that's not the only reason why you stay with us. One of the advantages of operating such large hostels is that there is a lot of opportunity to socialise with other travellers. We also host regular theme parties in our bars and arrange a number of extra activities, like city walks, pub crawls or day trips. Just check out any of the many online Generator communities, for example on facebook, and you will realize that there is a whole lot more to Generator Hostels than our comfortable beds.
